Shall Never

I shall never know.

What lies beneath your skin

Who made a rock from a glass of milk

How you live with bearing sorrow

Yet, as Nature is thy witness, you are akin.

I shall never know.

What frames courage to speak your mind

Who incarnates words your mouth dare utter

How you solve yourself from a puzzle

Yet, with mind as still as ocean, (you are) a treasure to find.

I shall never know.

What differs you from an open book

Who refers to you as a chapter

How you be ridiculed by your filthy cover

Yet your mask of fool is all you find in thy look.

I shall never know.

What brings you with catastrophe and red

Who decides you are tainted as a blemish

How are you always painted with that spot of black

Yet, you smother the blaze and smirk at the fade.

I shall never know.

What brought your surface before mine

Who scarred your dainty little disguise

How you have tussled in the quest so far

Yet, one to assure, you will be just fine.
